IBPS RRB Eligibility 2017:

The candidates who are interested in applying for the IBPS RRB 2017 Exam have to fulfil certain eligibility criteria. The IBPS RRB eligibility criteria for 2017 has specifications related to age, educational qualification, and the language/languages required to be known by the candidate who is applying for the post in a particular state.

Educational Qualification: The candidate must have a degree from a university that is recognised by the Government of India, as on 2017.

Language Requirement: The candidate must be proficient in the local language of the state in which the RRB is located. The candidate should also have attempted and passed an exam in the local language in his/her 8th standard exam or a higher level.

IBPS RRB 2017 Eligibility Related to Age:

The candidates who fall under the General Category and are interested in applying for the posts Office Assistant and Officer (Scale I, II & III) must fulfil the age criteria. The applicant’s Date of Birth must fall in between the dates specified in the table below.

However, there is a relaxation in the Age for candidates who fall under the following categories, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Castes (OBC), Ex-Servicemen, Disabled Ex-Servicemen, Widows, Divorcees, etc,

      Yeah, we are pretty sure, infact from now on, candidates should have basic computer knowledge as well in order to be eligible for the RRB exams
      This is done in order to rectify the candidate’s false mentioning of the local language in order to get job. IBPS is making it’s system very transparent now. All the best.

  5. sir i kindly requiest to you, please other any states students,{esspecially Andra pradesh and Telangana students}are not apply to my KARANATAKA state. so please this only help me sir. example previous year 2016-17 total job in my Karnataka state RRB jobs was 1550. in this vacancies karanataka candidates getting only 10%, it means 155 vacancies, thats it only. so i kindly requist to you sir. dont apply my state. plese you preffered my KANNADA languages.

  9. If I appear from UP, do I need to know all among urdu,hindi and sanskrit, or knowing just Hindi will suffice. I have studied sanskrit till class 8 and hindi till class 10. How will I prove the fact that I had studied sanskrit till class 8?

Sir, Ibps rrb mentioned the local state language of j&k Hindi also and I have studied it upto 10 th standard but I mentioned NO in the column of state proficiency language by mistake as I had read Hindi in the option and I have submitted the form . Will it effect me in selection procedure of rrb clerk
